Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope you’re ready for a FANTASTIC week.

Whew! I think I might need a weekend from my weekend. My Saturday was filled with the usual shuffling back and forth from one of my kids’ activities to another. My son’s basketball team won their league championship so it was a fun day!

Miles with the trophy. I need him not to be so cool and smile – boy you won!

On Sunday morning, my sister and I ran 10 miles. We’re getting ready for our next race – the Savannah Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. I’m traveling this weekend to Philadelphia with my family and I’m not sure if I’m going to get a long run in this week so knocking out the 10 was high on my priority list.

Nicole and I happy after a fun 10 miles.

While I was on my run, Husband took the kids out for 3.5 miles. I LOVE that.

My kids on the go. Notice who’s out in front. Girl Power!

Later that afternoon I had a doubles tennis match with my women’s ALTA team. Of course because I ran 10 miles that morning it would be a 3-set match that took 2+ hours. Talk about tired. I’m pretty sure I was in bed before 10 p.m. last night.

It was a GORGEOUS day for tennis.

I’m going to rest today because my body needs to recover. I’m going to do some ab work, but that’s it. I’m planning to run and strength train on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday, I’m traveling and will take a rest day. Saturday I plan to hit the gym at our hotel – the Omni Hotel Independence Park. If I’m going to meet my goals I can’t let travel get in the way. I’m headed to Disney on Monday for a sneak peek at the new Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom (FUN!) and I’ve got to stay disciplined when I’m on the road.

The kids are off from school today, but I’m still going to try and get some work done. Right. Wish me luck.

Have an awesome day and make sure you do something special to take care of YOU!

Winks & Smiles,
