I’ve got a bookshelf full of DVD movies that I would love to watch on my iPad. I’ve been known to be a tad cheap frugal and have a problem paying full price to download what I already own – that’s exactly why I was game to try Walmart’s new Disc to Digital service when the email popped in my in-box.

While I have several movies that I can’t live without I grabbed one of my new favorites, Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol, to try out so Miles and I could watch it when we head to Florida this week.

It was super easy.

I went to Walmart to the photocenter and asked the girl working if she could make it happen. She walked me through the process which took all of 5 minutes – including signing me up for my free VUDU account.

Meet Melissa. She’s a Disc to Digital pro.

The service requires a VUDU account and cost only $2 per DVD. I can handle $2, especially since Walmart sent me a $50 gift card to try it out. Oh, did I mention they’d like to send one of you a $50 gift card to give it a whirl, too? Nice, right?!

Here’s how to enter …

Leave me a comment telling me a movie you can’t live without.

That’s it.

Winks & Smiles,

Disclosure: Walmart provided me with a $50 giftcard to try the Disc to Digital Service; and will be sending a $50 gift card to the winner of this contest. As always, my thoughts and opinions are all my own.
