The other day Husband showed me a video of a basketball coach who said a quote that stayed with me. He said, “Don’t wish it wasn’t so hard, wish you were better.”
I like it, but wanted to take it a step further and share it with my kids …
I don’t want them to WISH they were better, I want them to do the WORK to get better.
I want to do the work to get better.
Wishing is fine as long as you back it up …

I’ve never heard that quote before…and I love good quotes!
After reflecting on it, I find it inspiring because it implies that you CAN do the work to reach it, and make it easier. It implies that it can “get easier” for everybody.
Thanks for sharing!
