I’m still keeping my photo food journal, but I’ve decided to do a weekly wrap up instead of posting everything I eat daily. Taking pics of everything I eat has been so beneficial to getting me on the right path to meet my goals. It’s amazing how SEEING your food can really make you think about what you’re putting into your body – what you need to add and what you need to eliminate. Ahem.
This Week’s Eats:
This is a collage of most of the foods I ate. Everything is not included and I ate many of these things several times throughout the week (the cereal for breakfast and Clif Bars), but it’s a good representation.
Spinach Salad with Southwestern Grilled Chicken, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Feta and Lite Raspberry Vinaigrette. YUM! It was dinner one night and I was pressed for time so I used already prepared grilled chicken strips. It was heavenly. Oh, and special shout out to the bangin’ egg whites, hummus and salsa multi-grain wrap, too. Delish!
Pizza. Gasp! It was one of those days when I didn’t make time to cook and asked Husband to make a pizza run. We did order a pie with light cheese – there was barely any on it. Every little bit makes a difference.
Next Week’s Goals:
To drink more water throughout the day; to add more salads; and to eat any starchy carbs before 6 p.m.
