When the folks at Verizon Wireless announced they were sending me a Fitbit Zip to test out I was super excited because it’s different than anything else I use for running. It’s a wireless activity tracker that keeps up with your steps, distance, and calories burned. It also encourages you to set goals, challenge friends and rewards you with some fun badges along the way.

This is perfect for me as I’m stepping up my fitness game – bad pun intended – for the spring. It’ll help me monitor my everyday activity when I’m not on a run. Sweet!

Setting it up was as easy as one, two, three  …

There are easy instructions and a quick tutorial to get you started. One of my favorite things already is that it syncs automatically when you’re near your computer. I don’t have to do any up or downloading. LOVE that.

I’m already having big fun with the Fitbit Zip and can’t wait to give you my feedback after I’ve used it next month. Oh, and how could I forget – this link can get you $5 off one of your own!

Winks & Smiles,

Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassadors program and have been provided with a wireless device and three months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. As always, my thoughts and opinions are all my own.
