Happy Friday! I spent the morning with one of my favorite couples – Ronnie and Lamar Tyler from BlackandMarriedwithKids.com. We got together at a local park to go for a quick run and shoot a video for the Black Girls Run! Drive to End Hunger Race Weekend, September 14-16 in Atlanta.

I’m excited to take part in their inaugural race and conference next weekend. I signed up for the 10K and have great hopes of getting myself a PR. Fun!

Lamar filmed us chatting about running and the upcoming race for their site. I’ll share the video once it’s done.

I love that they’re both running the 5K together – it’s a co-ed race. Neither of them are regular runners, but they’re coming out for the cause!
