Running Weight loss — 30 September 2011

Tough day on the tennis courts this morning (I’m in taper mode so won’t be running again until Saturday morning). While the weather was perfect – sunny, cool and crisp – my tennis game was FAR from it.

This is where I should have left my racquet this morning and just watched – gasp!

Yes, it really was that bad. We were off the courts in 45 minutes (that’s not good for the losing team) but somehow my partner, Melanie, and I still managed to have some fun. Fortunately, our opponents were nice and gracious after kicking our ass winning so quickly. Losing sucks. That’s right, I said it. That felt good. Now I’m over it.

I managed to avoid the temptations on the snack table afterwards.

I had this delish salad and fruit. Yum!

I so want these salad tongs for my house. I doubt they come in running shoes. *Winks*

I stayed to cheer the team on – we only took 1 out of 5 matches today – then headed home to clean up before my little people came busting through the door. Today is gymnastics day for both of them.

They flip around back-to-back for two hours so I normally try and get a little work done.

Today’s Workout
45 minutes of really bad tennis.

I’m off to relax with Husband; and a glass of wine. Yes, I said wine. Gasp! Project Me and my quest for abs is still in full effect, but I’ve added a new twist to my plan … a twist … I’ll share tomorrow.

Winks & Smiles,
