15 miles. Really? This Saturday morning? This COLD, rainy Saturday morning?
Yup!
Although my body would have loved to sleep in I got myself up this morning and knocked out 15 miles like a champ.
Boom.
I had great company for the first 8 miles with Dawn and several other Get Fit Atlanta runners. Coach Barbara kept me company through 11 then I put on my headphones and ran the last four solo.
It feels great to get into high mileage – its been a little over a year since my last full marathon. The Napa Valley Marathon is going to be awesome. Can. Not. Wait.
I plan on recovering here for a few hours until my crew and I head out for my niece’s 3rd birthday party. Fun!
