Short Bio
Lorraine Sanabria Robertson is an author, nationally published freelance writer and creator of the blogs AskWifey.com and RunWifeyRun.com where she manages marriage, motherhood, all the mayhem. She frequently pens parenting, marriage, travel and fitness related stories; and is the author of Help! I’m a Newlywed … What Do I Do Now? Wife-Saving Advice Every New Bride Must Know to Survive the First Year of Marriage. In March 2009 she was featured on the Travel Channel’s “Great Cruises: Why Not The Mediterranean?” television show and her life-changing wedding was featured on TLC’s “A Wedding Story.” Lorraine is a member of the American Cancer Society’s Blogger Advisory Council; a regular contributor to TravelingMom.com; and was an original host blogger for Fox5 TV’s www.MyAtlantaMoms.com. She recently lost more than 25 pounds; was featured in the “I Did It!” section of the January 2012 issue of Fitness Magazine; and is training for her third marathon, the Napa Valley Marathon in March 2013  Her background is in public relations. As the former director of publicity for LaFace Records she’s contributed to the success of several superstar artists like Usher, OutKast, Toni Braxton and TLC. She also worked in higher education for the premiere women’s college for African-American women — Spelman College.
