It’s Monday, a brand new start to a brand new week; and what better way to kick it off than with a good run or workout! Monday mornings can set the tone for how the rest of the week goes. If you start it out slow, sluggish and disorganized chances are you’ll be playing catch up all week; but if you get yourself going early you’re more likely to be productive and less stressed. Here are three reasons to get moving on this wonderful Monday morning:
Boost Your ENERGY. I’m not sure about you, but I often need a weekend to recover from my weekend. Ahem. Running or working out will get your blood flowing and release those lovely, and powerful, little endorphins setting you up for an energized and happy day.
Save Your SANITY. If I don’t get my muscles moving I’m
a crazy lady not the most rational person. Part of the reason I exercise is to save my sanity, and my family, when I lose it. Getting a good sweat on helps me do just that.
Enjoy the BEAUTY. There’s something about heading outside first thing in the morning when the world is waking up. It’s simply beautiful. Watching the sunrise while listening to my favorite songs or just letting my mind wander is so relaxing sometimes I forget I’m running. Really.
Today’s workout: Running. I got in three miles this morning and I’m excited for a brand new week.
