Food Weight loss — 24 August 2012

I had an extra long day yesterday which can often throw my eating off. My daughter stayed home from school with a low fever and sore throat. We took a trip to the doctor – no strep here just regular back to school cooties. I kept her home again today and expect her to be back in action over the weekend. I also had my hands full with Miles tennis practice, curriculum night at his middle school, and the Atlanta Blogalicious Meetup hosted by Ronnie & Lamar Tyler from Black and Married with Kids.

Staying on the go can make it hard to stay on track. Thank goodness I did a big food shopping this week so I had enough food in the house to make sure I made healthy choices.

Yesterday’s Eats …

Scrambled egg whites on a multi-grain wheat wrap with spicy hummus, spinach and salsa
Kashi Go Lean Crunch with vanilla soy milk and bananas
Apples and almond butter
Tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, basil and garlic balsamic vinaigrette
Almonds
Chocolate chip Clif Bar
A Few pieces of dark chocolate
