Quaker Heart Health Challenge: Get Moving & Enter to Win $750

February 7, 2012

Fitness is one of my priorities for 2012, one of my 5 F’s, and it’s making such a huge difference in my life – physically and mentally, too. Not only does running and working out make me stronger, it’s boosted my confidence and has me trying things I never thought I’d do.

When the good folks at BlogFrog invited me to join the Quaker Heart Health Challenge by adding 15 fitness activities into my routine over 30 days I couldn’t resist. I’m training for the Princess Half Marathon so I’ll be running several times a week. I’m also doing Jillian’s Ripped workout which will add to those 15 activities.

One of the best parts about the challenge is encouraging others to get in on the fun. I’d love for you to join me!

The Quaker Heart Health Challenge is a great step towards becoming a healthier me. Now, I’d love to know, what motivates you to stay healthy?

For your chance to win $750 complete these two steps:

1.Share the Challenge with your friends
2.Tell us that you’ve invited your friends to join the Challenge AND share what motivates you to stay healthy below

[…] I joined the MapMyFitness Quaker Challenge around the same time I started my Good to Great 26 Day Challenge. I believe in challenging myself – that’s the best way I know how to push past complacency and get myself to “Great.” Over the past month I’ve been training for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon and I’ve added strength training back into my routine. I’ve been doing Jillian Michael’s Ripped DVD and it’s rekindle my love affair with strength. I love running, too, and believe that there’s room in my life for both of them. Ahem. I’m excited that I will surpass the 15 activities for this challenge and definitely feel like I’m on the road to GREAT! It’s not too late for you to join the MapMyFitness Quaker Challenge and get in on the fun, too. […]
