With our first Get Moving! Race & Relax event less than two weeks away, we’ve started highlighting some of the lovely participants who will be running or walking and celebrating their accomplishments with us on June 5.

Our next Race & Relax beauty is Yvette Pollard. I’m so excited to share that Yvette launched her first blog last week, Wonder Woman Chronicles, and I invite you all to please stop by and welcome her to the blogosphere! Yvette shared a few words below to introduce herself to the Race & Relax crew.

“Hi all! I’m Yvette Pollard originally from DC but raised in Georgia for most of my life. I am a single mom to 4 awesome kids. Two boys and 2 girls aged 15, 9 and the twins are 7. I am fiercely protective of my kids, as are all parents, but two of my children are Autistic so I am a huge advocate for them and their needs. I am a quasi runner (hard to find the time!), obsessed with tennis and an all around LOST fiend (yes I AM having a problem letting go!!!).”
