I ran today and it made me HAPPY.

It’s not that I’ve been unhappy, but I haven’t fallen into a steady routine this year and not running regularly clearly has an affect on my mood. And it’s not good. I did a workout schedule last week, but I haven’t fully followed it yet. When my sister and I hit the trail by the river this morning to do our Princess training run I immediately felt better. I was happy and in my zone.
It was a GREAT reminder to put me first. My health and my sanity need it. I’ve been letting life dictate my time instead of guarding what I know I need.
I won’t be doing that anymore. From now on I’m MAKING the time to run happy …
