Running, Princesses, and Wine – Oh, My!

Happy Monday, Everyone!

It’s an exciting week around these parts as I’m getting ready to head to Disney on Thursday for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Then, as if that’s not enough fun, after the race on Sunday I’m hopping a plane from Orlando to San Francisco to attend the Wine Sisterhood’s Gathering in Napa. I’ve never been to Napa and I’m simply giddy with anticipation. Yes, I said giddy. Wine and good times will do that to you. Ahem.

On Friday my sister, Nicole, and I did our last long run before the Princess.

Taper – what?! She wanted to get in 13 miles and we did just that!

I also spent much of the weekend working on race day outfits for my girls.

I’m channeling my inner seamstress. Who knew? Winks! I’ll make sure to share the finished designs soon.

As I’m prepping for the Princess this week I wrote post on TravelingMom.com to make sure I don’t forget anything. You can check out, The Ulitmate Travel Pack List for Running Moms here, and feel free to add your suggestions, too!

Now, I’m off to get some work done. The kids are home from school today and there’s lots to do.

Enjoy the day and make sure to do something special to take care of you!
