Fitness Running — 27 March 2012

I was thrilled to get back from my cruise yesterday to find out that the AJC 2012 Peachtree Road picked me to run this year. Me … and approximately 60,000 other folks. So, they didn’t really single me out but I was chosen to run the world’s largest 10K road race via their lottery system.

It’s a classic race – especially for us Georgia peaches. I’ve run the race several times, even before I was a “runner.” Ahem.

Here’s a pic and the link to last year’s post about the race. Don’t judge me about the beer. I’m just sayin.

AJC Peachtree Road Race 2011 Recap

Anyone else running it? Holla.

  1. What wonderful news – congratulations! I just looked up the details of the race and it looks like a huge race. I wish I lived closer to Atlanta…it seems like it would be a great run. Can’t wait to see your recap!

    • Thanks, Natasha! It’s crowded but fun! Could be a fun destination run for you – smiles!

  2. Me and my family are in too! We have about 22 memebers running/walking it this year.

    • Nice! Hopefully I will see you and we can take another picture! Smiles!
