Family Travel — 09 October 2012

I don’t know about you, but I often find myself spending too much money when I start getting ready for a trip. Whether it’s a destination race or a relaxing weekend with my family – it’s almost like it’s an excuse to go shopping. Ahem.

Recently, Milan and I went camping with her Girl Scout Troop and I was determined not to spend too much money packing for this trip – especially since we’re not regular campers. I’m happy to say I did well and actually came in under budget. I made this quick video to share my 3 money saving packing tips. Hopefully, it will help keep you and your wallet on point, too.

FYI, I never got IN the lake … and I kept the hot pink Crocs.
