This is why you don’t let 40+ year-old suburban moms go on vacation sans kids. To the Caribbean. Because we lose our minds. Without the kids around we automatically think we’re at least 20 10 years younger. And, we do things that would embarrass them. Not us, because at 40+ you don’t get embarrassed easily anymore. The kids. We would embarrass the kids.

In December when Renee and I went to Jamaica to run the Reggae Half Marathon we stayed at the fabulous Beaches Negril Resort & Spa. We had the opportunity to tour the property and learn about the many activities they have for kids of all ages. We couldn’t resist channeling our teen years and spending some time in the Xbox Play Lounge and at the Scratch DJ Academy.

I had no idea I should have packed my Kangol.

We come from the OLD school hip hop and gaming days.

Word.

Oh, but wait …  you can only watch this video if you promise not to laugh. We were having too much fun. Ahem.
