Happy Monday, Everyone! Hope you’re ready for a fantastic week.

I had a most WONDERFUL weekend. In fact, it was so wonderful, and so busy, that I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

Gasp!

While that’s not really possible I am going to use today to catch up on some home and family things that I normally knockout on the weekend. My Black Girls Run! Drive to End Hunger Race Weekend recap is coming, but after I do some things like put food in the house (for some reason my family likes it when I go grocery shopping) and make sure that my son is not wearing the same socks for the third day in a row. Yikes! He’s 11 and would do that whether there are clean clothes or not, but I digress.

I’m planing to do a BGR! Conference Recap and a Part 2 for the race. Speaking of the race I will share that I got my PR! Yay! My unofficial time was 1:08:35.

I was all smiles crossing that finish line!

Today’s Workout

I’m taking a rest day. My body is tired and needs a little weekend recovery, too.

Winks & Smiles,

  1. I know the feeling! I just started running in May and I’ve grown to really love it but sometimes I overdo it and my body needs a minute lol So how far did you run in that time? I’m just now running a 5k in under 39 minutes… Building my endurance slowly but surely! Have a restful Monday, lady!
