It’s Wordless Wednesday, the perfect time to do my picture recap from this year’s AJC Peachtree Road Race. Yes, I’m a tad late – it was on July 4 so there’s lots of red, white and blue. Now that I think about it, it’s actually great timing with the Olympics happening. Ahem. Go USA!
My Dad, my sister Nicole, and I goofing off on the train to the start of the race.
Feeling good and patriotic in my red sparkly skirt!
The race kicked off in Buckhead with everyone running under the flag.
Um, these guys took wearing red, white and blue to a new level. GASP!
Yes, the sprinkler sprayed Holy Water. There were priest out there sprinkling some, too. I wonder if the underwear dudes got some?
Husband thinks I should be a spokesperson for Sweetwater 420. It’s my favorite beer. Gulp!
Will run for beer – not run and drink beer. I dumped the cup, but I did have a nice cold one AFTER.
Once Nicole and I finished we waited for my dad before the finish line and ran in together.
Husband and the kids always come out to cheer me on. Don’t ask what my child is doing. You’re guess is as good as mine.
One of the best parts of running the Peachtree for me is doing it with my family.

Great pictures. But the underwear men are giving us a little too much information! LOL
Wifey
Thanks, Krystal! They were having a good ol’ time. LOL!

Tee hee hee! Thanks & Smiles!

Love it…all of it…even the dudes in their underwear. I have it on good authority that there’s a race in Dahlonega where they wear nothing. No joke. My girls need a little more support than that. On a more appropriate note, I think it’s so cool you waited for your dad. That makes me cry a bit.
Hugs to you!
Wifey
LOL! Thanks, Des! Hugs & Smiles!
