I was totally tickled to open Facebook and see that the runDisney page posted this picture in their timeline.
GASP!
This will be the first time in three years that I don’t rock a tiara, tutu or some Minnie ears at runDisney’s Princess Half Marathon.
Double Gasp!
The race is one week before my marathon so my schedule strongly suggested that I skip it this year. I LOVE the Princess, it’s one of my favorite races, so since I can’t be there I figured I would do a few new posts to share some tips about preparing for and running it. Look for those over the next few weeks. In the meantime, if you’re getting ready for the race you can checkout one I wrote last year, Running Disney: 7 Tips to Prep for the Princess Half Marathon, on Traveling Mom.

I would love to be able to rock a half-marathon one day…it’s on my bucket list! We just returned from a Disney trip and had the time of our lives. Can’t wait to go back.
