Wordless (Weight Loss) Wednesday: 4 Pounds Down
Ok, so maybe it’s Not-So-Wordless Wednesday.
It’s been one week since I set my new weight loss goals and I’m off to a good start – 4 pounds down, 18 to go.
I’ve shared before that I’m not a big scale person as there are so many factors that vary the numbers it decides to scream at you each time you step on it – the time of day, what you’ve already eaten, if you worked out and lost extra water weight, if you’re on your cycle, and more.
BUT, I can’t deny it can be a useful measuring tool and can help me reach my weight loss goals as long as I don’t get obsessive over the numbers. I’m using it to put me in a healthy weight range. As I get closer to my goal and my body composition changes I might find out I need to lose more pounds or I need to put a few back on; and I’m good with that.
In upcoming weeks I’ll continue to share the numbers but I might start switching to weekly body pics – once I start to see some changes. That should be interesting – Gasp!
I got in a midday 4-miler and it felt awesome!
