Fitness Running Weight loss — 19 September 2012

I’m down 1.5 pounds from last week. Yay! While it can be fun to see big numbers pop up on the scale I actually prefer to see a small and steady decline. I could do lots of tricks to make the weight fall of quick, but most of the time it finds it’s way back. My plan is to lose 1-2 pounds per week then I’m more likely to keep it off. I’ve got 10 weeks until I head to Jamaica for the Reggae Marathon and Half Marathon and I’m right on track to meet my goal.

Today’s Workout

4 BEAUTIFUL miles through my hilly neighborhood.

I’ll be hitting the weights again tomorrow morning at Atlanta Fitness Diva.

Ms. Ernestine has me super motivated!

  2. Small and steady, I like that! I started reading your blog 2 weeks before 2011 Princess half (my first race) and you’ve inspired me through 4 more halfs and a full. Now, I need to get in on weigh in Wednesdays to lose 13 lbs. Maybe this way I’ll be more accountable. I’m 5’3″ 133. Til’ next week…
