Running — 19 January 2012

My schedule for the next few months is getting packed, but I can’t complain because it’s filling up with fun activities and races like the Zooma Atlanta Half Marathon and 5k at Lake Lanier Island on April 22. I’m excited for this race because of it’s girlfriend-style partying and pamering reputation. Clearly I like to Race & Relax, ahem, so I quickly said yes when approached about being an Ambassador for their Atlanta event.

I recently wrote a post on Traveling Mom about their 2012 race series – they’re holding 5 events around the country this year including one in Texas, the Great Lakes, Cape Cod and Annapolis. I’m hoping to travel to at least one of these, too!

“Run a scenic spring half marathon or 5K along the shores of beautiful Lake Lanier, then celebrate in style waterfront at Lake Lanier Islands Resort! Stay motivated through the winter, and look forward to a fit girls’ weekend in April with ZOOMA at Lake Lanier!”

You can read more tempting details on the Atlanta page of the Zooma website.

Anyone interested taking a little run then having a little wine fun in Atlanta with me?

I’ve got a discount code for $10 off the half marathon and $5 off the 5k.

Hope to see you there!

Winks & Smiles,

Disclosure: I am an ambassador for the Zooma Atlanta Half Marathon & 5K which includes my race registration. As always, my thoughts and opinions are all my own.
